Oscar Lindo, MD

Oscar Lindo, MD is the founder of Lindo Medical Care, a provider-owned primary care practice established in 2007. He completed a three-year residency training program at Bay Shore Hospital in Long Island, New York, which concluded in 2001, building a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Early in his career, Dr. Lindo trained and worked in surgery, an experience that sharpened his clinical judgment and hands-on approach. He later transitioned fully into Family Medicine, where he found his true calling: caring for individuals and families through every stage of life with a focus on prevention, early detection, and long-term wellness.
Medicine runs deep in Dr. Lindo’s life. He comes from a family of physicians—his father, Dr. Noel Lindo, is a doctor, and his brothers are also physicians established here in the United States. That legacy, combined with years of practice, reflects the high standards and deep commitment he brings to every patient relationship.
Today, Dr. Lindo is known for thoughtful, personalized care—creating tailored health plans and guiding patients with clarity, consistency, and genuine investment in the community he serves.
Mari Castello, MD
Primary Care Physician
Mari Castello, MD has been a trusted physician at Lindo Medical Care since 2016 and serves as the cornerstone provider at our Spring Hill location. Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Castello brings both strong clinical experience and a deep commitment to the community she serves—earning the respect and appreciation of patients and families year after year.
Known for her thorough, thoughtful approach, Dr. Castello takes the time to truly listen, understand each patient’s needs, and deliver care that feels personal—not rushed. She is especially valued for her attention to detail and for consistently looking for ways to improve and refine each patient’s health plan, whether that means preventive screenings, chronic disease management, or coordinating care with specialists.

Alfredo Lindo, MD

Alfredo Lindo, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who joined Lindo Medical Care in 2022, continuing a proud family tradition of medicine as the son of founder Oscar Lindo, MD.
Dr. Lindo completed his residency training in Miami at HCA Aventura Hospital, finishing in 2021. Recognized for his strong performance, he was offered opportunities to pursue fellowship specialization, but he chose a path rooted in service and legacy—returning to work alongside his father and help grow the provider-owned practice built on long-term relationships and community care.
Practicing side-by-side with his father gives Dr. Lindo a unique advantage: he can draw on Dr. Oscar Lindo’s decades of hands-on clinical experience and the “traditional” medical wisdom that only time in practice can teach. He complements that foundation with a modern, evidence-based approach, combining proven clinical judgment with current guidelines and up-to-date medicine to deliver the best of both worlds.
Dr. Lindo is especially passionate about prevention, metabolic health, and lifestyle-driven care. He spearheaded the practice’s weight loss program, bringing structure, accountability, and medical oversight to help patients achieve sustainable results.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lindo is deeply committed to fitness and physical training, and he brings that same energy into his patient care—encouraging people to stay active, build healthier routines, and feel their best for the long run.
Osmer Puerto Arias
Nurse Practitioner
Osmer Puerto Arias, ARNP joined Lindo Medical Care in March 2023 and brings a truly unique depth of experience to our team. A Cuban national with a medical degree, Osmer practiced medicine abroad before coming to the United States and courageously rebuilding his career from the ground up.
After relocating to the U.S., he pursued nursing, earning his RN and ultimately becoming a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)—all while working and supporting his family. That journey gives him a rare blend of hands-on clinical maturity, humility, and real-world understanding of patient needs.
Osmer is bilingual and highly focused on preventive care, education, and practical health planning. Patients appreciate his calm approach, thoroughness, and the confidence that comes from years of broad medical experience.
